These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Jalsaa website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Jalsaa Travel Marketplace ("Jalsaa", "we", "us", or "our").

By using our Service, you agree to:

Jalsaa operates as a travel marketplace connecting travelers with travel agents, tour operators, and service providers. We facilitate bookings but do not directly provide travel services.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Take responsibility for all activities under your account

Traveler Account

Browse packages, make bookings, manage trips

Travel Agent Account

List packages, manage bookings, earn commissions

Organization Account

Manage multiple agents, advanced features

3.3 Account Verification

Travel agents and organizations must complete a verification process including business documentation, licenses, and identity verification. Verification does not guarantee the quality of services provided.

4.2 Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only after:

  • Successful payment processing
  • Availability confirmation from service providers
  • Receipt of booking confirmation email
  • Travel agent acknowledgment

4.3 Booking Modifications

Modifications to confirmed bookings are subject to availability, travel provider policies, and may incur additional charges. Contact customer support for modification requests.

5. Payments & Refunds

5.1 Payment Terms

5.2 Pricing and Taxes

  • • All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless specified
  • • Prices include applicable taxes (GST) as per Indian regulations
  • • International bookings may have additional taxes and fees
  • • Prices are subject to change based on availability and demand
  • • Final price is confirmed only upon booking completion

5.3 Refund Policy

Full Refund (100%)

Service provider cancellation, force majeure events, or cancellation within free cancellation period

Partial Refund (Varies)

Customer cancellation subject to cancellation policies, modification fees, and service provider terms

No Refund

No-show, cancellation within 48 hours of travel, or violations of terms and conditions

Refund processing time: 5-7 business days after approval. Processing fees may be deducted.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 Standard Cancellation Timeline

6.2 Force Majeure

In case of force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.), we will work with travel providers to offer rebooking options or refunds as per their policies.

7. User Responsibilities

Traveler Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal and travel information
  • Ensure valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.)
  • Comply with destination country requirements
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Respect local laws and customs

Travel Agent Responsibilities

  • Maintain valid licenses and certifications
  • Provide accurate package information
  • Deliver services as promised
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Maintain professional conduct

Prohibited Activities

  • • Providing false or misleading information
  • • Engaging in fraudulent activities
  • • Violating intellectual property rights
  • • Harassing other users or staff
  • • Attempting to circumvent our systems
  • • Using our platform for illegal activities
8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Platform Liability

Jalsaa is not liable for:

  • Quality, accuracy, or availability of services provided by travel partners
  • Actions or omissions of travel agents, hotels, airlines, or other service providers
  • Travel disruptions due to weather, natural disasters, or force majeure events
  • Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during travel
  • Medical emergencies or health issues during travel
  • Visa rejections or travel document issues

8.2 Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific booking in question, or ₹10,000, whichever is lower.

8.3 Service Provider Responsibility

Travel agents and service providers are independent contractors responsible for their own services, actions, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Content

All content on our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is owned by Jalsaa or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

9.2 User Content

By submitting content (reviews, photos, etc.) to our platform, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for our business purposes.

9.3 Restrictions

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without prior written permission.

10. Termination

User Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support.

  • • Complete pending bookings before termination
  • • Download any required documents
  • • Settle outstanding payments

Platform Termination

We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms or illegal activities.

  • • Immediate termination for serious violations
  • • Notice period for minor violations
  • • Refunds processed as per policies
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication. If that fails, disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration before resorting to court proceedings.
